The following are among the practices and types of worship which bring forth lawful wealthBelow are listed a few Beautiful Gems from one of the Sons of Shaykh Ahmad Bamba.
- Having Taqwā تقوى (Awesome awareness of God or God-consciousness): Any wealth which is not sustained by Taqwa is not beneficial. It is mere lure, whatever type of wealth it is or may be.
- Paying visits to friends and relatives
- Being kind to one's parents ( Bir al-Walidayn بر الوالدين. )
- Washing ones hands before and after meals.
- "Remembrance [of God]" (Dhikr) and saying Istighfar - "Astaghfirullah" (I seekforgiveness of God)
-Saying the ( Basmala) regularly بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم بِسْمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحْمٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ.
Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Rahim b-ism-illāh ir-raħmān ir-raħīm (300 times) and reciting one of the (Salawat) prayers on the Holy Prophet (Peace and Blessing be up on him) (100 times) every morning.
- Reciting Surat Al-Wāqi`ah (The Inevitable) - سورة الواقعة -ch. 56 of the Qur'an every night.
Islam recommends a Muslim who is having problems earning his or her living to regularly read the following prayer:
Bismillahi 'Ala Nafsi Wa Malii Wa Diini, Allahumma Raddini Bi Qadaa'ika, Wa Barik Li fima Quddira Lii Hatta La Uhibba Ta'jila Ma Akharta Wa La Ta'khira Maa 'aj-jalta
بسم الله على نفسي ومالي وديني, اللهم رضني بقضائك, وبارك لي فيما قدر لي حتى لا أحب تعجيل ما أخرت و لا تأخير ما عجلت
- Similarly, it is recommended for a Muslim who is in debt to regularly recite the following prayer (70 times) after the Obligatory Fajr Prayers:
Allahumma akfini bihala lika an haramika wa aghnini bi fadhlika am-man siwak.

اللّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاك
“O Allah, grant me enough of what You make lawful that I may dispense of with what You make unlawful,
and make me independent, by Your bounty, of other than You.” (At-Tirmidhi)
If he does this prayer, the Almighty (God) will help him pay all of his or her debts and he will see an increase of wealth. (insha Allah)
- Giving alms also augments wealth.
-Reciting Sura al Kawthar regularly the following number of time after each canonical prayers incease the change of getting wealth;
30 times after Fajr Prayer
25 times after Dhur Prayers
20 times after Asr Prayers
15 times after Maghrib Prayer
10 times after Isha Prayer
- Likewise the recitation of Sura Fatiha in the same way as recited above increase the chance of gaining wealth as well as reciting prayers on the Holy Prophet (Peace and Blessing be upon him)
Seriñ Souhaïbou (Abû Madiyana) Mbacke passed away in 1991 and is buried in Darou
Khoudouss ( Dâr al-Quddûs), Senegal. May Allah be pleased with him and
May Allah reward him for all of his contributions to the education of Muslims.
